ד"ר ג'ניפר גלסר היא ממקימי המרכז הישראלי לפילוסופיה בחינוך – פילוסופיה לחיים. היא יועצת חינוכית עצמאית ובעלת דוקטורט בפילוסופיה ותעודת הוראה. בעבר כיהנה כנשיאת המועצה הבינלאומית לחקר פילוסופי עם ילדים (ICPIC) וכיום מכהנת בוועד המנהל שלה.

Dr. Jennifer Glaser is one of the founders of the Israeli Center for Philosophy in Education – ‘Philosophy for Life’. She is an independent educational consultant with a doctorate in philosophy and teaching degree. She has served as president of the International Council for Philosophical Research with Children (ICPIC) and currently sits on the ICPIC Executive Committee.

המרכז קידום קולם של ילדים בענייני חינוך ופיתוח הילד כמכלול. פרויקט מוביל של המרכז הוא "ילדים עושים פילוסופיה" אשר פועל בבתי ספר של החינוך הממלכתי, ממלכתי-דתי והערבי. תחומי עניין נוספים של המרכז הם: חינוך לדמוקרטיה, רב-תרבותיות, רוחניות ורציונאליות.
הפדגוגיה בה דוגל המרכז היא פיתוח 'קהילה חוקרת', זאת בהשראת התנועה החינוכית "פילוסופיה לילדים". "פילוסופיה לחיים" מבטאת את מחויבותו של המרכז לחבר בין חקירה לשאלה "כיצד עלינו לחיות?" ולהשלכות של כך על חיינו.
The Center promotes the voices of children in matters of education and child development as a whole. A leading project of the center is "Children Doing Philosophy" which operates in schools of state, state-religious and Arab education. Other interests of the Center are: education for democracy, multiculturalism, spirituality and rationality.
The pedagogy advocated by the Center is the development of an 'investigating community', inspired by the educational movement "Philosophy for Children". "Philosophy for Life" expresses the Center's commitment to connecting inquiry with the question "How should we live?" And the implications for our lives.
